I can’t believe it’s September already – where is the time going?
Things are certainly moving fast for me at the moment – I seem to busy just about every day at the moment but I’m not complaining – I think it’s great!
I’ve been out and about again meeting people and recently went to a meeting with the Disabled Children’s Team. They seemed to think that I would be a great help to younger people with worries and concerns and already we are thinking about what we can do.
I’ve also been to Newcastle with the Training Team where I was joined by the ladies from the ‘Dream Team’. They are the drama group which work with Them Wifies. It was a great day and we got to do some of the new Bereavement and Loss Workshop. Everyone enjoyed meeting each other and it was a great opportunity to talk about a really tricky subject in a safe place. It was lovely to see everyone helping each other and I learned so much.
Now that we’ve trialled the programme I am going back to Pottergate in November to run the full five week workshop. I’m looking forward to that and seeing some old friends!!
Well, it’s the start of a new week and so I’m off out and about again. I’ll catch up with you all soon.
