This one day session is to provide minute takers with the relevant knowledge and understanding of the systems, processes and terminology used in Safeguarding Adults meetings.
The information provided will enable minute takers to correctly interpret the many phrases used during these meetings and therefore increase personal confidence and skills in this role.
Delegates are required to attend both days to complete this training.
The target group for this event is administrative staff who may be required to take minutes at Safeguarding Adults meetings and who are employed by NHCT & NCC
At the end of this session the learner will be able to:
Identify the processes used in Safeguarding Procedures
Recognise the importance of the minute takers role
Identify the role of key people in the safeguarding processes
Develop own skills and confidence in minute taking processes
